really a gem on the outskirts of Schwerin. It's not for everyone, but if you're looking for peace and quiet, need a break with your loved ones or just want to relax - this is exactly the place! Not for young people - but if you've already got a few days under your belt - you'll feel at home. The guests - they say "good morning" or "hello" - are also very pleasant and unfortunately are becoming increasingly rare. A spacious hotel complex with lots of greenery, grass and watercourses is a feast for the eyes and creates a pleasant atmosphere. Spa, sauna, pool - everything is there. And the surroundings and history of the village of Banzkow with its traditions and celebrations will make everyone think of their childhood and relive it. But one condition - you shouldn't be allergic to country air - you're in the wrong place!

...we stayed in the house for three nights. The room with balcony (in the new building) was large and functionally furnished. The shower room was relatively new and clean. The beds were a little too soft, but that's a matter of taste. There was an LED TV with enough TV programs, but unfortunately the radio on the bedside table didn't work at all. It was also good that smokers were allowed to smoke on the balcony. However, when we arrived, the ashtray was still full from the guest before us. The balcony was furnished with two chairs and a table, but had not been cleaned, so it looked dirty (lots of green algae and a rusty clothes rack). The pool in the basement was quite large (20x4m) and well-tempered. However, it was a little old, in particular the overflow grilles around the edge of the pool should be repaired. There is also a large parking lot, and €2 per night is OK. An elevator and the drinks machine in the entrance area round off the overall positive picture. The food was good and there was something for every taste. The breakfast buffet was excellent, fresh rolls, a large selection of sausages and cheeses, cereals with yoghurt and milk, as well as scrambled eggs and coffee and a huge selection of teas. You could also bake your own fresh waffles, great. For dinner there were several dishes in buffet form, from fish to meat to vegetarian dishes, everything was there. If you wanted you could also eat normal bread with toppings. There was also always a fresh salad that you could put together yourself. The only drawback was that the food in the buffet was relatively cold. But the taste and variety was perfectly fine. The supply of drinks for dinner (and afterwards) was also excellent. Only the buffet area is a little cramped and there are always people who think they can't get anything else, so despite Corona it was sometimes not possible to comply with the distance rules. As a suggestion, you should consider whether it would not be better to assign guests a fixed table for meals, so that the guests (two people) would not have to search for a free table. The staff was always very friendly and accommodating, and on behalf of everyone, Ms. Eckert is mentioned here, who is doing a very, very good job under the conditions of Corona. Once again, our warmest thanks to the entire team. The quiet and rural location (fields with fresh manure, smells a little) is a good starting point for excursions, e.g. to Schwerin and Wismar. All in all, a hotel that is worth a short vacation and we can only recommend it.
